  • Pendant brooch is designed as a jabot style sword that can be removed from its scabbard to reveal a gold blade
  • Featuring a cushion cut ruby weighing approximately 0.40 carat - bright red
  • Hilt and scabbard are set with old mine and old European cut diamonds
  • Weighing in total approximately 0.70 carat with quality consistent with cut and age
  • Hilt is topped by a 3.5 mm pearl - white in body color with very good luster
  • Completed by a lever back mechanism to remove scabbard from blade - with safety chain
  • And a looped bale at hilt
  • Tested as platinum-topped 18 karat gold
  • Circa: 1900
