Edwardian Amethyst Diamond Pearl Platinum-Topped 18 Karat Gold Swag Necklace

  • Paperclip style chain features a swagged center
  • With baroque pearl stations and suspending a baroque pearl drop
  • Measuring from 2.5 mm to 4.0 mm and very well matched
  • Centering a cushion cut amethyst measuring approximately 7.5 x 7.1 mm
  • Medium light purple in color and set by split yellow gold prongs
  • Surrounded by a delicate laurel motif with flowers
  • Accented by rose cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.25 carat total
  • Completed by a spring ring clasp
  • Tested as platinum and 18 karat gold
  • Circa: 1910
  • Length: 16 3/4 inches
  • Swagged center measures 3 1/2 inches pearl to pearl with a 3/4 inch drop
  • Total weight: 4.6 grams
