• Pendant designed as highly rendered sprouting foliate in a multi-tiered fob completing in a circular bale
• Embedded with an intaglio bloodstone deeply engraved to depict a poised pheasant with scrolled ribbon in verso 'propositi tenax' Latin for "firm in purpose"
• Bloodstone measures 3/4 x 5/8 inch and is a very slightly bluish-green mottled with bright red flecks
• Tested as 14 karat gold
• Circa 1900's
